After leaving EverQuest, I was searching for the perfect replacement MMORPG. I heard that some of the original designers of EverQuest were working on a new game, called Vanguad. I immediately became interested. This was the first game I got to Beta test, and I loved it, despite the constant bugginess (that never got fully resolved during the time I was playing). The world was beyond beautiful, it was breathtaking. I loved simply BEING in Vanguard. But the diplomacy and crafting were what made the game for me. Once again, Sony messed this up by killing the customer support. I have now vowed not to start another game that is being "hosted" by Sony, since it doesn't matter how good the game is, poor customer support will kill it. I'm still searching for the right replacement for Vanguard.

Great summary about the feel of the game and the problems facing it. I'm sorry you no longer play, but you have to draw the line somewhere, yeah?
